It's that time of the month to release our second installment of our mixtape series, Chilltown Selects Vol. 2, mixed by local native (DJ) Jedd Kristjan. With Carnival season in line and Women's History Month approaching, Chilltown Selects Vol. 2 pays homage to Caribbean sounds and pioneering female music artists. If you've ever been to one of our Lime Basement Basement parties, you'll probably start whining your waistline when you hear some of the 90's dancehall tracks, then start laying down the footwork when the mix carves out some club edits with female vocals. If you recognize the last track in the mixtape, shout out to YOU.
Can't forget that the mixtape includes Electro-Caribbean and Jersey Soca remixes by THREAD DJ's and producers, DJ Dana Lu and Kiff, and "Winner" by Kardinal Offishall featuring the Celebrity Maurauders. Big up for putting on for your cities!
